Of East Pittsburgh, age 85, died on Tuesday, September 24, 2024.
Beloved wife of the late Donald L. Frazier.
Cherished mother of Debra (Jack) Mizerski of North Braddock, Brenda L. (Kevin) Grabowski of North Huntingdon, and Don L. (Paula Gilmore) Frazier, Jr. of East McKeesport.
Treasured grandmother of Sean (Karyn) Mizerski, Emily Mizerski, Kevin Grabowski, and Ryan Grabowski.
Loving great grandmother of Aiqua-Lee Cornett-Grabowski.
Margie is preceded in death by her parents; John and Anna (Orage) McGinley, along with her siblings; Patricia McDine, Irene Hower, Helen Orage.
Margie is also survived by countless friends.
Margie worked at Braddock Hospital as a housekeeper for many years. She faithfully volunteered at St. William Church as a Eucharistic Minister. Margie had a lot of fun playing bingo, going any chance she could. She was great at crocheting; she made a special crocheted blanket for everyone. Margie loved to be surrounded by her family and friends, having them over at her house for Sunday dinners. She made sure everyone ate, never letting anyone go hungry. Margie cheered on the local Pittsburgh Sport teams, especially the Pirates, Penguins and the Steelers. Over the years she had different chihuahuas she adored. Margie was selfless and cared for others deeply, she most of all cared for her loving grandchildren.
Friends and family are welcome on Sunday 2-8 p.m. at the Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 700 Linden Ave. at Cable, East Pittsburgh, PA 15112, (412) 824-8800. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church of St. Joseph the Worker Parish.
Margie will be laid to rest at All Saints Braddock Catholic Cemetery, reunited again with her beloved husband, Donald.
