Margaret A. (Pringle) Versino

Of East Pittsburgh, age 68, died on Thursday, May 28, 2020, peacefully at home with her family at her side.

Beloved companion for 38 years Steve A. Kaefer.

Loving mother of Bill (Helen) Versino of South Park, Joe Versino of East Pittsburgh, Michelle Versino of Turtle Creek, Jennifer (Michael) Spanbauer of Murrysville and Steven (Deanna) Kaefer of North Huntingdon.

Cherished grandmother of Victoria Hans, Allison, Emily and Ryan Versino; Kaitlyn Fey; David Seaman; Madison, Michael and Morgan Spanbauer; Steven, James and Thomas Kaefer.

Proud great-grandmother of Mia and Emma.

Sister of Joseph Pringle and Ardale Stone.

Margaret was an unselfish and faithful woman who placed her family and their needs and priorities ahead of her own. Her family dedication was exemplified by her daily love, care and devotion to her son, Joe. Joe has been in a coma for 21 years after an accident and Margaret has been his caregiver in her home for all of those days. Despite her incredible care of Joe, Margaret never neglected her grandchildren, as she has equally loved and appreciated all of them.

Friends are welcome on Monday from 6-8pm and Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8pm at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home and Crematory Inc; 700 Linden Ave. at Cable; East Pittsburgh, 412-824-8800. In observance of Covid-19 restrictions, a limit of only 25 visitors at a time will be coordinated by the funeral home staff.

Margaret’s funeral service will be in the funeral home on Wednesday at 12 noon with a limit of 25 people. Her service will be streamed. Contact funeral home for info.
