Of Churchill, age 94, passed away on Easter Monday, April 21, 2025.
Madge was preceded in death by her parents, George and Elizabeth (Kotyko) Sulinchak, her beloved husband, William Seman and her fiancé, John Bonga.
She was the loving mother of Cynthia (John) Dancu of Philadelphia and William (JoAnn) Seman of Forest Hills.
Madge was the grandmother of Jessica (Chris) Foltz, Jackie (Atilla) Kiraly, Michelle (fiancé, Rich Lansberry) and Michael (Rachi) Seman
She also is survived by her 4 great-grandchildren, Courtney, Lily and Ashley Foltz and Rishwin Seman.
Madge was also preceded in death by her sisters, Margaret Polosky, Helen Yager and Elizabeth Bessenyei and her brother, Monsignor Albert Gaydos.
Madge was a 1948 graduate of North Braddock Scott High School and followed with an Associate’s Degree from Robert Morris Business School. She became a valuable employee at various firms such as Rockwell, Graciano’s, and finally Westinghouse, from where she retired. Madge enjoyed her membership in the Churchill A.A.R.P. She also loved to dance, especially with John Bonga as they danced 5 days a week. Madge was fond of the adventures that travelling brought to her and she also spent many hours reading for relaxation.
Friends are welcome on Sunday, April 27 from 2-6p.m. at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 700 Linden Ave. at Cable, East Pittsburgh, PA 15112, (412) 824-8800 where a Funeral Service will be prayed on Monday at 11 a.m. with Fr. Vitalii Stashkevych presiding.
Madge will be laid to rest with her husband Bill in Braddock Catholic Cemetery.
