Lynda Rodman Obituary

Of North Braddock, age 76, died on Sunday, June 15, 2025.

Lynda was preceded in death by her parents, Harris and Edwina (Krausa) Knadler.

She was the beloved mother of Richelle (Jim Hohl) of Glassport,

Stacey (Tom) Newton of GA., Meranda (Adam) Brown of Oakdale and Ronald Rodman, Jr. of Dormont.

Lynda is also survived by 14 grandchildren: T.J. (Sam) Elton, Dustin Byrd, Cullen Elton, Abigail Horwat, Danielle Newton, Ty Newton, Demian Rodman, Ziah Rodman, Ronald Rodman, III, Nicholas Rodman, Ryan Rodman, Nate Rodman, Skyla Brown and Viva Brown.

She was the proud great-grandmother of Corinne and Tristan Elton.

Lynda is also survived by her brother, Harris (Shirley) Knadler of Monroeville.

Lynda attended Turtle Creek High School and subsequently entered the medical field as a Nurse’s Aide at the former Eileen Jordan Care Home.  Her dedication to her work was paralleled only by her determination to grow and serve in greater capacities. While working full-time, she pursued further education and achieved her certification as an Emergency Medical Technician, thus expanding her ability to care for those in critical need.

In her role as an EMT, Lynda's quick thinking and compassionate nature were instrumental in saving lives and providing emergency care with both proficiency and kindness.

At the same time as serving as an EMT, Lynda was employed as an Emergency Room Tech at Braddock Hospital.

Beyond her professional life, Lynda was known as a staunch Pittsburgh Pirate fan and a person who loved her family and cherished any opportunity to be with them.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
