Of North Huntingdon, passed away on December 5, 2025, at the age of 82.
She is survived by her dear friend of 13 years, Pam Gibson; children, Maureen (Curtis) Nemcsik, and Michael (Judith) Schrauder; grandchildren, Robin (Jason) Konieczka, Nicholas (Chelsie) Geisler, Jacob Schrauder, Basia Schrauder, and Benjamin Schrauder; and 6 great grandchildren: Blake, Addie, Avarie, Cali, Julian and Jonas; brothers, Gary (Virginia) Rockenstein, William (Teri) Rockenstein, Scott Rockenstein; sister, Terri (Wil) Galloway; as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Rose Marie Rockenstein; sister, JoAnn (Robert) Clark; and granddaughter, Jennifer DeJulio.
Sally was a recognized local expert in sewing and owner of Sally’s Custom Lampshades. She was always creative, loved to learn new things, and had a knack for solving problems. She loved nature, the outdoors and all animals, especially her Morkie dog, Charlie. She was a devout Catholic and parishioner at Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, and even in the midst of illness and pain said, “God’s Will Be Done.”
Friends are welcome on Monday from 9 a.m. – 10 a.m. at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 700 Linden Ave. at Cable, East Pittsburgh, PA 15112, (412) 824-8800, where a Blessing Service will be held at 10 a.m. Sally will be laid to rest in St. Joseph Cemetery (Carnegie).
