Of Level Green, formerly of North Braddock, age 88, passed away peacefully in her home following an extended illness, on Tuesday, May 27, 2025.
Beloved wife of the late Lawrence Kuzins for 56 years.
Preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary (Archer) Urbas.
Loving mother of Kenneth (Roseann) Kuzins of South Carolina, Lynda (Mark) Brettschneider of Munhall, Carol (Pat) Corbett of Monroeville, and Kevin Kuzins of Level Green, who was also the loving caregiver of Loretta.
Adored grandmother of Amanda (Scott) Robbins, Amy (Chaz) Wolfe, Alaina (Adam) Riddle, Alyssa Kuzins, Andy (Nora) Brettschneider, Erika (Eric) Corrigan, Colleen (Michael) Duddy, Patrick (Stephanie) Corbett, Michael Corbett, and Brandi (Phil) Killian.
Great-grandmother of Liam Stravers and Gemma Riddle; Alexander and Benjamin Corrigan; Cameron, Caelyn, and Caliana Duddy; and Patrick, Lucia, and Lydia Corbett.
Cherished sister of Maryann (the late Ernest) Redovan of South Carolina, formerly of Murrysville.
Also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and longtime friends.
Loretta was a life member of the Slovene National Benefits Society (SNPJ), and a lifetime member of the North Braddock Volunteer Fire Department, where she also volunteered as a member of their Ladies Auxiliary. In her later years, she found joy in baking and creating needlepoint canvases.
Friends are welcome on Thursday from 2-7 p.m. at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 1111 Monroeville Ave., Turtle Creek, PA 15145, (412) 823-9350, where a Fireman’s Service will be held at 6:30 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church of St. Joseph the Worker Parish.
Loretta will be laid to rest in Braddock Catholic Cemetery alongside her husband, Larry.
