Lois M. (Anderson) Zimmer

Of Forest Hills, age 94, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2025.

Beloved wife of the late Albert Zimmer.

Dear mother of Rebecca (Luther) Bellows of Wilkins Township.

Adored grandmother of Thomas Bellows and Emilee Bellows.

Born the daughter of the late George and the late Mary Margaret Anderson. 

Lois graduated from Robinson/Montour High School in 1949 and was Head Majorette for the marching band.  She was employed at A&P grocery in Crafton as a meat cutter for eighteen years, and at Holy Trinity School in McKees Rocks as a teacher’s aide for over ten years. Lois loved doing crafts, flower gardening, and caring for her pets and family.  She was an avid water skier and dancer in her youth, something she enjoyed with her husband of 49 years.

She always offered a helping hand to anyone in need.  Lois will be remembered for her warm, loving heart, and her smile, that she shared with all those that knew her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. 

Visitation will be private to the family.

Lois will be laid to rest in Resurrection Cemetery.
