Lois was raised in Monroeville and was a graduate of Gateway High School. She was employed as for IDL, Inc. in Murrysville for over 20 years before retiring. In her retirement, she also worked for Ames in Murrysville, and even until recently, WalMart in Delmont. Her faith was a cornerstone in the way she lived her life, Lois was a longtime member of the McMasters Methodist Church in Turtle Creek. Lois treasured the time spent outdoors. She found peace and relaxation in spending time with her beloved bird, Lily. She loved being involved with a Mustang Club and the American Legion motorcycle club. Much like her work at IDL, Lois found leisure in working with her hands, and was extremely skilled at crocheting and cross stitch. Most of all, she loved the moments shared with her family, especially all of her grandchildren.
