Unexpectedly, on Sunday, January 12, 2025, heaven got a lot richer when Linda (Persichetti) Lafferty left her earthly home. Linda, a retired school librarian and computer teacher from Pittsburgh Public Schools, never put herself first. She was the best Mum, Granny Girl, sister, aunt and friend. Linda will meet her parents, Antoinette & Leonard and her son Joey when she gets her wings.
Among the many who will continue to honor her, Linda will be remembered every day by her daughter Tara (Jim) Reis, daughter-in-law Jennifer, grandchildren Adam & Reilly Reis and Cameron Dimare (Sophie). She was a second Mum to so many, especially her siblings, Bobby, Bonnie & Leonard and an amazing friend to a small army including her former husband, Joe Lafferty, Sr.
All are welcome on Saturday from 2-7p.m. at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Turtle Creek/Monroeville Chapel, 1111 Monroeville Ave., Turtle Creek, 15145, (412) 823-9350, where a Celebration of Storytelling will commence at 7:00 pm.
To continue Linda’s legacy of giving, please make a donation to Blessings in a Backpack, 6100 Dutchman’s Lane, Louisville, KY 40205.
