Lawrence Paul "Larry" Seibert Obituary

Lawrence Paul Seibert of Forest Hills, died suddenly on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at the age of 81.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Margaret & Robert Paul Seibert and his brothers, Richard Seibert, Robert Seibert and John Seibert.

He was the beloved husband of Bernadette (Turocy) Seibert and father of Elisabeth (Anthony) Giardino, grandfather of Máriska (Matthew) Haslinger and Dakota (Erin) Giardino , and great-grandfather of Lainey, Colbie and the expected Brock.

Larry was a 1963 graduate of Central Catholic High School and enjoyed weekly Friday morning gatherings with his classmates at Ritter’s Diner. Larry served with the Army in Vietnam during the Vietnam War and has been a regular attendee of his Army reunions. After his discharge, Larry earned his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Pittsburgh and was a Pitt football season ticket holder for 40+ years. Larry retired from the PA. Liquor Control Board with over 30 years of service.

Larry was the guy everyone could rely on to be there for the party and change the flat tire, teaching us all the importance of showing up and living life to the fullest.

Larry’s love language was being there for every moment big and small.   He loved his friends, his family, his neighbors and wanted to make everyone he met feel seen and leave them with a laugh.  He was authentic, with a love of life.  He enjoyed knowing you, each and every one that he came in contact with, he thoroughly enjoyed.  Remember him and honor him by putting a smile on your loved ones’ face as well as the next stranger you encounter.

All are welcome on Monday from 1-7pm at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 700 Linden Ave. at Cable, East Pittsburgh, PA 15112, (412) 824-8800.
