Kenneth Ray Ford

Of Penn Hills, formerly of Plum Borough, age 68, passed away on Monday, December 1, 2025.

Born the son of the late Clarence Wendell Ford and the late Shirley Mae (Bowers) Ford.

Beloved brother of Mark Ford, Jeffrey (Judi) Ford, Pamela “Sue” Ford, Michael Ford, James Ford, Laurie (David) Festog, Randy (Karen Coddington) Ford, Tonya Ford, Kelly Ford, and the late Todd Ford.

Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and countless friends.

Ken was raised in Plum and was a graduate of Plum High School.  He proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Army.  Ken worked as a chef for several local restaurants, most notably, the Esta Esta in Monroeville, where he dedicated over 10 years of service.  He was also employed for many years by the maintenance department of the Westin Hotel in Downtown Pittsburgh.  Ken was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates fan and enjoyed watching horror movies and classic television shows. 

Friends are welcome to a Memorial Visitation on Saturday, December 20, 2025, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 1111 Monroeville Ave., Turtle Creek / Monroeville Chapel, Turtle Creek, PA 15145, (412) 823-9350, where a Blessing Service will be held at 1 p.m., followed by a presentation of Military Honors.
