Kathleen C. "Kathy" (Krivansky) Merolillo

Of North Versailles, age 79, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2026.

Born the daughter of the late Edward Krivansky and the late Mary (Estocin) Krivansky.

Beloved wife of the late Joseph A. “Tony” Merolillo, Sr., with whom she shared 58 wonderful years.

Loving mother of Joseph A. “Tony” (Cheryl) Merolillo Jr. and Gina (Matthew) Marra, both of North Huntingdon.

Cherished grandmother of Nicolai “Nico and Mario Merolillo and Guido Marra.

Preceded in death by her siblings, Edward “Buddy” Krivansky, Margaret “Jean” Sulkowski, and Patricia Gaida.

Also survived by nieces and nephews.

Kathy was proud to have been born and raised in Braddock, PA, and was a graduate of North Braddock Scott High School.  She had a successful career working in the field of accounting for various companies throughout the Mon Valley.  Most notably, she worked as the accounting controller for North Versailles Township for over 10 years before retiring.  Kathy’s favorite time of year was Christmas.  The holiday brought a smile to her face seeing her family together with the house decorated so nicely.  Kathy enjoyed completing crafts and had a sweet tooth for anything chocolate.  She was a longtime member of the North Braddock Sokol Hall, alongside her soul mate, Tony.  Kathy cherished her grandchildren above all else in her life.     

Friends are welcome on Thursday from 2-4 & 5-8 p.m. at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 700 Linden Ave. at Cable, East Pittsburgh, PA 15112, (412) 824-8800, where a Blessing Service will be held on Friday at 11:30 a.m.

Kathy will be laid to rest in Braddock Catholic Cemetery.

The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the residents and staff of Ridgeview Residential Care in Youngwood, for their sincere kindness and care they gave to Kathy, they were like her extended family.
