Of North Huntingdon, age 76, died on Thursday, October 26, 2023.
Born the daughter of the late Vincent and Mary (Potsic) Talak.
Karen was the adored wife of the late Ed Fiore, with whom she shared over 40 years of love, laughter, and memories.
Devoted mother to her daughter, Devon (David Dugan) Fiore, of North Huntingdon. Proud and loving Mimi of Caroline K. Dugan.

Karen is survived by many close friends and extended family.
Karen had a deep fascination with true crime and mysteries, often engrossed in episodes of NCIS or lost in the pages of gripping novels. She was a skilled cook and baker. Karen also enjoyed shopping trips with her daughter Devon and granddaughter Caroline, cherishing the simple pleasures of spending time with them. Karen and Ed often indulged in good dinners, including Friday date nights at Eat’N Park. Above all, Karen's love for her daughter, granddaughter, and family was immense. She loved them fiercely and deeply, and her love will continue to guide them.
Family and friends welcome Sunday 4-7 p.m. at the Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Turtle Creek / Monroeville Chapel, 1111 Monroeville Ave., Turtle Creek, 412-823-9350. A Memorial Mass will be held on Karen’s birthday, Monday 10:00 a.m. at St. Maurice Church of St. Joseph the Worker Parish.
Karen will be reunited once again with her husband, Ed, at Good Shepherd Cemetery.
