Judith A. (Nesky) Hardin

Of Avonmore, formerly of Plum, age 76, died peacefully at her home on Wednesday, November 8, 2023.

Judy was the beloved mother of Michael (Beckie) Hardin of OH and Deborah ( Darrin Johnston) Price of Avonmore. Darrin was a devoted caregiver to Judy for 5 years.

Judy was the precious grandmother of Steven (Joe) Hardin, Brandon Hardin, April Price, Matthew Price, Marcus Price and Anna Price.

She is also the sister of Jack Nesky of North Versailles, Kevin (Ralene) Nesky of GA and the late Ron Nesky.

Judy’s other special caregiver for 11 years was Rebecca Brank of Avonmore.

Judy was also preceded in death by her parents Stephen and Rita (Neilson) Nesky.

Judy was a 1965 graduate of Westinghouse Memorial High School and was a long-time overseas telephone operator for AT&T. She later retired as a telephone operator from CVS Pharmacy in Monroeville.

The most important aspect of Judy’s life was her love and devotion to her family.

Friends are welcome on Tuesday from 10a.m.-1:00p.m. at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Turtle Creek / Monroeville Chapel, 1111 Monroeville Ave., Turtle Creek, 412-823-9350 where a Funeral Service will be held at 1p.m.

Judy will be laid to rest in St. Joseph Cemetery.
