Joy A. (Cook) Lucas

Of Turtle Creek, age 81, died on Friday, June 3, 2022.

Beloved wife of the late Robert F. “Luke” Lucas who died on May 25 of this year.

Loving mother of Ken Benish of East McKeesport, Kim (John) Connelly of Turtle Creek and Bob (Susan) Lucas of Wilkins Twp.

Precious grandmother of Jennifer (Mike) Romano, Amanda Connelly, Cameron, Rachel and Juliann Lucas.

Proud great-grandmother of Evan and Hannah Romano.

Sister of Jeri (Jim) King, Jacqui (Ron) Giammatteo and Wendy (late Ted) Bair.

She was preceded in death by 11 other siblings, and was also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Joy possessed a deep Christian faith in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior.  She deeply loved and adored her grandchildren and treasured any moments that could be spent with her family.

Friends are welcome on Tuesday from 10a.m. -12 noon at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Turtle Creek / Monroeville Chapel, 1111 Monroeville Ave., Turtle Creek, 412-823-9350 where a Memorial Service will be held at 12 noon.

Joy will be laid to rest privately in Penn Lincoln Cemetery.
