Joseph L Nase

Of Wilkins Twp., age 96, passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2013. 

Born in Punxsutawney, Pa. on September 19, 1916, he was the beloved son of the late Angeline and late Joseph Nase.

Beloved husband of Nina (Strano) Nase for 71 years.

Loving father of Marilyn (Bill) Mautino of Chalfant Borough and Joseph Nase of Napa Valley, CA.

Joe also is survived by one loving grandson (Pap Pap and fishing buddy), Joseph Brown of Chalfant Borough.

Joe was preceded in death by his brothers, John Nace and Anthony Nase. Joe was a WW II Army veteran and a long time member of the American Legion Post 0701 in White Oak. He worked for Westinghouse as an electrician for over 40 years, until his retirement in 1979 from Bettis Atomic Power Plant in West Mifflin. During retirement, Joe pursued his great love and passion for dancing. He also enjoyed golfing, fishing and bowling.

In his memory and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Fallen Timber Humane Society, 1680 Fallen Timber Road, Elizabeth, Pa. 15037.

Joe’s family wishes to thank the entire staffs of Sycamore Estate and Three Rivers Hospice for their care, kindness and compassion during our beloved Joe’s illness.

Mass of Christian Burial in St. John Fisher Church, Churchill, on Wednesday at 10 a.m.

Interment with Military Honors will follow at Good Shepherd Cemetery, Monroeville.
