Formerly of North Braddock and Turtle Creek, age 86, died peacefully with his family at his side, on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at his residence in Harrison City.
Beloved husband of 49 years to the late Bettie Lou “Bea” (Wilson) Napolitano.
Precious father of Christina “Tina” (Paul) Borgony of Harrison City, Joseph Napolitano, Jr.of Turtle Creek, Nicholas “Nicky” Napolitano of Jefferson Hills, Lou Ann Napolitano of Acworth, GA and the late Mario Napolitano.
Treasured “Poppy” of Britney, Bethany and Briana (fiancé, Nick Ricci) Borgony; Marina, Nico and Giovanni Napolitano.
Proud great-grandfather of Demi Brisco.
Brother of Thomas “Bucky” (late Maggie) Napolitano of Braddock.
Joe is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his sister, Josephine Rickard and his brothers, Nick and Anthony “Satch” Napolitano.
Joe was a Korean War Army veteran and a retired employee of Equitable Gas Co. with 33 years of service. He was a member of the ISDA, Forest Hills Lodge #224 and served as chairman of the Picnic Committee for 30 years. Joe was a devoted coach of North Braddock Little league and managed his team, The Italian Club, to 2 Championships.
