Joseph Fusilli Obituary

Joseph “Joe” Fusilli, born December 29,1944, ascended to his Heavenly home on November 15, 2024 to be joyously reunited with his beloved family.

Preceded in death to Joseph were his parents, Dominzio Fusilli and Eva (Yannuzzi) Fusilli, his siblings: brother Donald, sisters Rosemary, Katherine, Juliette, Elizabeth "Lil,” and his brother Johnny.

Joseph leaves behind his sister Darlene Fusilli, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and extended family.

Joe was well known throughout Wilmerding and surrounding areas as a friendly, sweet man who always had a kind word to say to everyone he met.

His demeanor and innocent quality spoke volumes of Joe’s true character.

Joe spent a great deal of his career working side by side and assisting his beloved brother Johnny at his restaurant, Johnny’s in Wilmerding.

In September 2021, Joe became a permanent resident of LGAR Home in Turtle Creek, where he soon became a favorite of the staff and fellow residents.

The care Joe received at LGAR was second to none and it wasn’t long before he came to think of the staff as his family.

Joseph will be remembered for his love of music, golf, and his contagious, sweet laughter and spirit, all of which will be so greatly missed.

It was raining large droplets.

I believe it's Heaven’s tears,

They weep for those left behind,

Those who really care.

He who has transitioned

From this life to the next,

Shall experience perfection,

As Jesus greets them.

The eternal existence,

With Heaven as their home,

Sickness and problems melt away,

Sorrows? There's no more.

The rhapsody of angels songs,

Giving glory to His Name,

Words sincerely can't describe

The wonderment God made.

What we can only imagine,

As they are surprised and rejoice,

When they reunite with passed loved ones,

The laughter and the joy.

The sky had surely emptied out,

The day when you departed,

Heaven's sorrow is for those left behind.

The truly broken hearted.

There will not be a visitation or service.
