Obituary of John A. Kritko

Of Monroeville, age 59, died unexpectedly at his home on Monday, September 22, 2025.

John was the beloved son of Mary C. “Tina” (Yurkovic) Kritko and the late James Vincent Kritko.

He was the dear brother of Timothy J. (fiancé Sherri Harris) Kritko of Pitcairn.

John was the fond step-brother of Kevin Ferri and Scott (Gina) Ferri.

He is also survived by numerous friends.

John was a 1986 graduate of Gateway High School. For most of his career, he has worked for various maintenance employers, most recently All Around Maintenance. One of John’s favorite pastimes was listening to music, whether recorded or at live concerts. He also was an ardent fan of movies and enjoyed collecting DVD’s of many of his favorite films.  

All are welcome on Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 1p.m. at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Turtle Creek/Monroeville Chapel 1111 Monroeville Ave., Turtle Creek, PA 15145, (412) 823-9350.

After a brief service, John will then be laid to rest in Penn Lincoln Cemetery.
