John Kopay, Jr. Obituary

Of White Oak, age 61, passed away unexpectedly on November 13, 2022.

Born the son of Sylvia J. (Lewis) Kopay and the late John Kopay, Sr.

Beloved brother of Georgette (Ronald) Dusetzina, Judy (Paul) Kopay-Telli, and Sylvia A. Kopay.

Also survived by 4 nieces, 1 great niece, and 1 great nephew.

John was a 1979 graduate of St. Thomas Catholic High School in Braddock. He worked for several years as a banker for the Federal Reserve Bank in Pittsburgh, and also worked for BNY Mellon, PNC, and Dollar Bank. John enjoyed shooting pool as a hobby. He was a longtime member of Ss. Peter and Paul Church in Braddock.

As per John’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service.
