Of Braddock, age 63, passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2025.

Loving companion of the late Sherry Ruffner for 40 years.

Father of Jill Zaracki, Michael Ruffner of Braddock, Chrystal Ruffner of North Braddock, and late Joyce Ruffner.

Grandfather of Auriana Durham and Zane Venson.

Son of Mary Ann (Norman) Costello and the late Joe Z. Zaracki, Sr.

Stepson of the late Thomas Costello

Brother of Jarret Zaracki, Johnie Zaracki, Jimmy Zaracki, and Jerry Keenan.

Nephew of Judy and John Norman.

Uncle of Rick, Joe, Jay Campbell, Jenna and Bobbi Davis, and late Shawn Campbell.

Joe was preceded in death by his siblings Joe Z. Zaracki, Jr., John Zaracki, Jodi Zaracki, Jana’  Davis, Jeff Zaracki, Jay Zaracki and his stepbrother Josh Costello.

Joe was a graduate of McKeesport High School, class of 1980. After graduation he went to work as a Union Carpenter with Local 432. In his spare time, Joe used his skills to build furniture, decks, and houses.

There will not be a viewing or public service.
