Joanne M. (Maydak) Jendeski

Of Pitcairn, formerly of Braddock, age 82, died on Monday, January 6, 2025.

Joanne was the beloved wife of the late George Jendeski.

She was the loving and precious mother of Elaine Burns of East Pittsburgh, the late Bonnie Dworkes and late James Burns.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Goldie Maydak, her brothers Bill and Richard Maydak and her sister, Morgan Maydak.

Joanne was a retired nursing aide and provided compassionate care to individuals in their home. Her fondest joy was her family and any time she could spend with them.

Friends are welcome on Thursday from 3- 6 pm at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc.; 700 Linden Ave at Cable Avenue, East Pittsburgh (412-824-8800) where a Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 11:00am.

Joanne will be laid to rest in Monongahela Cemetery.
