Joan M. (Laughery) Readel

of North Versailles, age 67, passed away peacefully with family by her side on December 30, 2025.

 Beloved wife of Robert "Bob" Readel.

Loving mother of Jennifer Hajdukiewicz (Brad), Christopher Hajdukiewicz (Lisa), and Gregory Confer.

Stepmother of Brandon Readel and Bradley Readel.

Cherished grandmother of Hayden, Nevaeh, Braxton, Pierce, Austin, Wyatt, Jaxson and Leo.

Dear sister of Sherry Kmetz, Kevin Laughery (Carol), Dianne Van Damme, Patrick Laughery (Monica), Mark Laughery (Tracy), Maureen Jacob, and Melissa Mickey.

Joan is preceded in death by her parents Harry and Grace Laughery.

She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

 Joan had a giving heart, strong faith and love for God. Joan loved spending time with her grandchildren who brought great joy and love to her life. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Friends welcome Sunday 2-4 & 6-8 PM in the Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 700 Linden Ave. at Cable, East Pittsburgh, PA 15112, (412) 824-8800. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at Noon on the Sacred Heart Church of St. Joseph the Worker Parish.

Burial will follow in Round Hill Cemetery.
