Of Hempfield, formerly of Duquesne, age 75, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, May 15, 2022.
Born the daughter of the late Vincent DeLozier and the late Marietta (Scanlon) DeLozier
Beloved wife of John Washko for 56 wonderful years.
Loving mother of Tom (Colleen) Washko of North Huntingdon and Lynn (Cyndi) Washko of Hempfield.
Cherished grandmother of Katie (Scott) Thompson, Kelly (fiancé Tom Dillon) Washko, Rhiannon (Donny) Beseny, Dennison (Jen) Williams, and Samantha Williams.
Special G-G of James Wray-Williams.
Sister of the late Vincent DeLozier.
Janice worked for over 10 years as a cashier for the North Versailles Goodwill. She was an avid animal lover and enjoyed spending time caring for their every need.
Friends are welcome Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home & Crematory; 700 Linden Ave. at Cable; East Pittsburgh, PA 15112; (412) 824-8800, where a Blessing Service will be held Thursday at 8:00 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made in Janice’s name to any local animal shelter.
