James "Jamie" Kauffman Obituary

Of Braddock Hills, age 55, passed away on January 30, 2024, following a valiant battle with Type 2 Diabetes.

Even through his illness, he never lost his lively spirit, or friendly and witty banter.  Jamie was an honest, loving and hard working man.  He had a contagious sense of humor and was outing to everyone he met.  Jamie loved to tease, joke, laugh and carry on.  His warm smile won over many friends and family members alike.

Jamie worked for Kenny Poeschl Farm in Punxsutawney, PA, since his early childhood.  Although he was born and raised in Braddock, PA, he loved spending time in Punxsutawney, PA. Jamie enjoyed going on car rides, especially with his sister, Sara. They would have fun as kids, doing donuts in the parking lot. At one time, Jamie was also employed with the Monongahela Cemetery in North Braddock.

Jamie was an animal lover and will now be reunited with his fur-baby, Kitty Sammy, along with his other relatives and friends that have passed before him.

He is preceded in death by his girlfriend, Sheri; his grandfather, Harry Wymer; his grandmother, Anna Mea Wymer; his father, Lloyd Kauffman, Sr.; his step-father, John Znidarzich; his mother, Sadie Znidarzich; and his brothers, Lloyd Kauffman, Jr. and Johnny Kauffman.

He is survived by his immediate family, Sara McMunn and Bill McMunn; his step-children, Amy, Miss Judy; his friend Nancy; his nephew, Mark (Carrie) Kelly; and his friend, James Harris.

Jamie is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews
