James A. Reno

Of Penn Twp., a native of East Pittsburgh, age 77, died at his home on Thursday, April 20, 2023.

Jim was the beloved husband of Linda (Eisaman) Reno for 55 years.

Loving father of Tim (Kim) Reno of North Huntingdon, Willie Reno of Penn Twp., and Jamie (Troy) Mink of North Huntingdon.

Proud grandfather of Mike, Reanna, Nicholas, Kaylan and Alayna Reno, and Autumn and Luca Mink.

Jim is also survived by his sister, Diane (late Glenn) Berkstresser of Pitcairn and 2 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Lillian (Dombrow) Reno.

Jim was a 1964 graduate of East Pittsburgh High school and served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.

He began his work career at Mesta Machine in Homestead and eventually became employed with Westinghouse. Jim travelled throughout the world as an inspector of nuclear power plants for Westinghouse and later, Siemens, when he retired.

In his spare time Jim appreciated a good game of golf but mostly he prized spending time with his family.

Jim’s visitation and service will be private to his family.
