Lifelong resident of Forest Hills, age 52, passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Beloved fiancé of Apryl-Lyn Loughlin, with whom he shared 4 amazing years.
Loving brother of Lisa (John) Brizzi-Arisman.
Preceded in death by his Mom, Beverly Ann (Ryan) Brizzi.
Also survived by countless cousins and close friends.
James was a 1990 graduate of Woodland Hills High School, and went on to earn an associates degree from the PA Institute of Culinary Arts. He was employed as a chef for many local restaurants, most notably Tugboats in Chalfant and Dot’s Family Restaurant in McKeesport. Most recently, he was employed as a chef with The Residence at Whitehall. James enjoyed fishing, playing darts, and listening to music. He was also an animal lover and especially found joy in being with his two dogs, Leonard and Rai. James will forever be remembered for his kindhearted nature and his outgoing personality.
Friends are welcome on Tuesday from 2-7 p.m. at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Turtle Creek / Monroeville Chapel, 1111 Monroeville Ave., Turtle Creek, 412-823-9350, where a Blessing Service will be held at 7 p.m.
