Of Turtle Creek, age 52, passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2026.
Born the son of Alice (Beyler) Botti and the late Andrew Botti.
Beloved brother of Andy Botti, Roger (Chris) Botti, Mike (Jen) Botti, April Braun, Anna Botti, and Robbie Botti.
Loving uncle of 15 nieces and nephews, along with many great nieces and nephews.
Jim will forever be remembered for his sense of humor, his quick wit, and all the nicknames he came up with for his family members. He was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, and enjoyed antiquing as a hobby. Jim’s most treasured part of his life was his family. He took immense care of both of his parents, and was always willing to help others in need. Those who knew Jim will remember his loving nature, his kindness, and the friendly way he connected with others.
Friends are welcome on Friday from 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Turtle Creek / Monroeville Chapel, 1111 Monroeville Ave., Turtle Creek, 412-823-9350, where a Blessing Service will be held on Friday at 12:30 p.m.
Jim will be laid to rest in Restland Memorial Cemetery.
