Hope was a 1965 graduate of Braddock High School. Following her graduation, she embarked on an illustrious career working in health care. She began at Braddock Hospital working primarily as a cardiac technician and also worked for a period of time at Shadyside Hospital. Hope later served as an assistant at the Premier Medical Associates office in North Versailles before retiring.
One of Hopes most recognizable pillars in life was her faith. She was a devout member of Good Shepherd Parish, where she served as a member of the Ladies of Charity, a volunteer Eucharistic Minister, and a member the former Rosary Society. She took great pride in serving the church, and for many years assisted as a sacristan for countless weekend and weekday masses, along with funerals weddings, and numerous other church functions. Hope was also a member of the Red Hat Society and the former Orchard Lake Society. Hope’s faith was widely apparent through her previous health journey and surely aided her successful heart transplant in the year 2011.
