Helen Schaefer Obituary
Of Monroeville, formerly of Wilkins Twp., age 96, died at Concordia on Wednesday, February 10, 2021.
Beloved wife of the late William J. Schaefer for 49 years until his death in 1999.
Loving mother of William L. Schaefer of Monroeville, David J. Schaefer of Monroeville, Susan (Kevin) Feltes of Level Green, Karen (Larry) McDade of Clarion and Janet Shay of North Huntingdon.
Helen is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, John and Roy Ferguson, her sister, Loretta Bridge and infant sister, Mary Ferguson.
Without any doubt, Helen was deeply passionate and proud of her life’s greatest accomplishment, her loving family.
Friends are welcome on Friday from 2-4 & 6-8pm at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Turtle Creek / Monroeville Chapel, 1111 Monroeville Ave., Turtle Creek, 412-823-9350.
Mass of Christian Burial in St. Colman Church of St. Joseph the Worker Parish on Saturday at 1 pm.
Helen will be laid to rest in Good Shepherd Cemetery.
