Helen (Beresh) Raganchik Castro

Of Murrysville, age 97, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, October 8, 2023. Helen was born on August 6, 1926 in North Braddock to the late Michael and Sophie Beresh. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Michael Raganchik who died in 1986 and Hilbert Castro who died in 2001. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Anna Rudy and Mary Ondovchik and her brothers, John and Michael Beresh.

Helen is survived by her loving son, Kurt Raganchik of Murrysville and also nieces and nephews.

Helen enjoyed singing in church, baking and being a blessing to others.

Friends are welcome on Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 700 Linden Avenue at Cable Avenue, East Pittsburgh (412-824-8800) where a Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 10:30 a.m.

Helen will be laid to rest at William Penn Memorial Cemetery in Churchill.
