Guigno "Joe" Barbusio

Of North Braddock, age 83, passed away on Monday, May 3, 2021.

Beloved husband of the late Dolores (Wos) Barbusio.

Loving father of Joseph F. Barbusio.

Adored brother of the late Michael (late Marlene) Barbusio and the late Frances (late Edward) Coyne.

Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Joe was a 1956 graduate of North Braddock Scott High School.  After graduating, he entered the U.S. Marine Corps and proudly served his country for two years.  Joe had a passion for caring for the dead and worked for the Diocese of Pittsburgh Catholic Cemeteries Association for over 45 years, most notably at Braddock Catholic Cemetery and Mt. Carmel Cemetery.  He was a devout member of Sacred Heart Church in Braddock Hills.  Joe enjoyed playing bingo, crafting ceramics, and loved spending time in his gardening.

Friends are welcome Thursday from 2-8 p.m. at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Turtle Creek / Monroeville Chapel, 1111 Monroeville Ave., Turtle Creek, 412-823-9350.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, 12 noon in Sacred Heart Church of St. Joseph the Worker Parish.

Joe will be laid to rest with Military Honors in Braddock Catholic Cemetery.
