Grace Miller Obituary

Of Murrysville, age 85, passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2026.

Born the daughter of the late Earl Bailey and the late Anna Mae (Kersanty) Bailey.

Beloved wife of Dr. Dan Miller for 60 wonderful years.

Loving mother of Dan Miller of Raleigh, NC, and Lee Anne Miller of North Hills.

Adored sister of Mervin (Patty) Bailey.  Dear aunt of David (Julie) Bailey and Michael (Christina) Bailey.  Great aunt of Jacob, Ava, Adam, Kelsee, and Kodee.

Grace devoted much of her life to education as a longtime teacher at the Woodland Hills High School, where she made a lasting difference in the lives of countless students and colleagues.  In addition to her work in education, Grace found joy in painting, an interest that reflected her appreciation for beauty and creativity.

Those who knew Grace will remember her for the cheerful and positive message she so often shared with others. She had a remarkable ability to brighten a room with her presence and to lift the spirits of those around her.

Grace was also a talented vocalist.  As she so affectionately told her family during her final moments on this Earth, “Don’t write a long obituary for me… I want to be remembered as Grace Miller the singer.”

Grace will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered for the beautiful spirit she shared so freely throughout her life, and of course, for her singing.
