Jeannie was raised in the town of North Braddock and was a 1955 graduate of North Braddock Scott High School.  Throughout her lifetime, Jeannie developed skills in many different career fields.  She began her employment journey at a young age delivering newspapers and working for a drive-in movie theatre.  Jeannie then went on to work for the Westinghouse Plant in East Pittsburgh, AT&T, where she would retire following 20 years of service as a billing specialist.  She also worked following her retirement for Gateway High School as a food service worker.

Jeannie always maintained a close relationship with Jesus Christ, her Lord and Savior.  She was a longtime member of the Church of God, a Worldwide Association, where she also gained countless friendships over the years.  Jeannie had a passion for caring for animals from a young age.  She also enjoyed singing, listening to music and playing her guitar.  Jeannie was a talented baker, and was well known for making the best Poppyseed Cake in town.  She will forever be remembered for her spunky, funny personality, and her devotion to caring for her family, especially her soul mate, Larry.
