Of Forest Hills, age 81, died unexpectedly on Friday, June 27, 2025.

Jerry was born on D-Day, June 6, 1944 in Corvallis, Oregon, the only child of Charles and Helen (Gorczynski) Fabich.

Jerry was the beloved and devoted husband of Judy (Danzuso) Fabich for 57 years.

He was the cherished father of Mark Fabich of Shaler, Sean Fabich of OH., Rebecca (Tammy) Fabich of Murrysville, Michelle (Justin) Grew of Hempfield and Neil (Cathy) Fabich of Mt. Lebanon.

Jerry was the treasured “Pap” of Ava Grew, Kylee Grew, Morgan Grew, Noah Fabich, Zoe Fabich-Birmingham and Max Fabich.

He was the brother-in-law of Jim (Cathy) Danzuso, Mike (Kim) Danzuso and Bill (Ruth) Danzuso.

Jerry is also survived by nieces, nephews and golf friends.

Jerry was a 1962 graduate of Plum High School and was a graduate of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. Jerry proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Army Reserves for 6 years. His career was in the publishing industry. Jerry retired early as Art Director of Technology Publishing Co. in order to spend time helping with his grandchildren.

In retirement, Jerry became a well-known personality at Grand View Golf Club in North Braddock where he served as a starter and ranger. He was also employed at Youghiogheny Country Club as a pro shop staff member.

Even though the sport of golf was a passion of Jerry’s, his most fulfilling time was with his family, especially his grandchildren.
