Obituary
Of North Braddock, age 56, died on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 after battling a variety of health issues.
Georgine was the beloved spouse of the late Charles Townsend and the loving mother of Charles ((Heather Lovelace) Townsend of North Braddock, Justin (Brie) Townsend of Trafford and Kaitlyn Townsend of North Braddock.
She is also survived by her brothers, Robert, Timothy, Paul, Michael Hetrick and the late John Hetrick.
Over the years, Georgine had been entrusted to serve as a cashier at several convenience stores in the area. However, her preferred profession was being a stay at home Mom, taking care of her family and crocheting.
There will not be a visitation or public service.
Arrangements are with Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 700 Linden Avenue at Cable Avenue, East Pittsburgh (412-824-8800).
