Genevieve C. (Szulborski) Strucaly

Of Turtle Creek, age 98, died on Friday, May 30, 2025.

Genevieve was born in Braddock on February 3, 1927, a daughter of the late Adam and Kazmiera Szulborski.

She was the beloved wife of the late Mark J. Strucaly for 65 years.

Gen was the loving mother of Elaine (Joe) Capezzuto of Plum, Mark Adam (Kim McConnell) Strucaly of Turtle Creek, Rebecca (Mark) Connell of Plum and Gregory (Emelia) Strucaly of OH.

She was the treasured grandmother of Janel (Carole Ann) Capezzuto and Laurel (Natalie) Capezzuto; the dear great-grandmother of Logan (Tasha) Krause and Bella Capezzuto; and the great-great-grandmother of Andrew and Jordan.

Gen was preceded in death by her siblings, Stephanie Ruskowitz, Jane Szulborski and Marion Szulborski.

She was also survived by nieces and nephews.

Gen was employed at Westinghouse in East Pittsburgh during WW II and after the War, she married Mark and became a homemaker.

Friends are welcome on Thursday from 4-7pm at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Turtle Creek / Monroeville Chapel, 1111 Monroeville Ave., Turtle Creek, 412-823-9350 where a Blessing Service will be held at 6:30 pm.

Genevieve will be laid to rest with Mark at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
