Genevieve M. (Roney) McDonough

Of North Braddock, died peacefully at home on Saturday, January 21, 2023.

Genevieve was the last surviving child of Joseph and Mary (Whalen) Roney.

Beloved wife of the late Thomas “Red” McDonough.

Loving mother of Thomas McDonough, Jr., Janie (Roy) Funk, Ginny, Jamie and the late Jackie McDonough.

Genevieve was the grandmother of 7, the great-grandmother of 8 and also survived by many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Mary Jane Roney, Dorothy Martha, Kay Anderchak, Mercedes Browning, Joseph, Jim, Jack and Gene Roney.

There will not be a visitation.

Friends and family are invited to her Mass of Christian Burial in Sacred Heart Church (St. Joseph the Worker Parish) on Brinton Rd. in Braddock Hills on Wednesday at 11 am.
