Frances A. (Gledich) Hissrich

Of Forest Hills, age 88, passed away in her home on Wednesday, September 24, 2025.

Beloved wife of the late Henry R. “Harry” Hissrich for 63 wonderful years.

Loving mother of Wendell (Kathy King) Hissrich of Squirrel Hill and Michael (Shini Wark) Hissrich of Studio City, CA.

Adored grandmother of Harry and Ben Hissrich.

Fran spent many years assisting her husband, Harry, with the day-to-day operations of Harco Electric on Braddock Ave., a business in which Harry founded.  Fran aided in bookkeeping and a host of other administrative tasks.  She was a faithful Catholic and member of St. Maurice Church (St. Joseph the Worker Parish) in Forest Hills.  Fran was most proud of being a home maker, caring for her two sons, and Golden Retriever, Max.  Later in life, she was blessed with the gift of two grandsons, whom she cherished with all of her heart.  

Friends are welcome on Sunday from 2-5 p.m. at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Turtle Creek / Monroeville Chapel, 1111 Monroeville Ave., Turtle Creek, 412-823-9350.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. in St. Maurice Church of St. Joseph the Worker Parish.

Fran will be laid to rest with Harry in Monongahela Cemetery.
