Fr. Ronald Naylor Obituary
Of Norfolk, VA, formerly of Turtle Creek, age 81, on Tuesday, July 28, 2015. He was born October 23, 1933, the third of twelve children to the late Percy and Alice Naylor.
Fr. Ron was ordained in the Diocese of Richmond, Virginia on May 3, 1960 and he served 10 years at various parishes throughout the Diocese.
In 1970, Fr. Ron, was commissioned by the U.S. Navy as a member of the Navy Chaplain Corps and served at duty stations throughout the world.
Brother of Theresa Mignogna, Nan (Lou) Renda, Jerry (Rose) Naylor, Bill (Diana) Naylor and Dan (Susan) Naylor.
Preceded in death by his sisters: Carolyn Seibel, Regina Naylor and his brothers Arthur, Charles, Joseph and Mickey Naylor.
Friends welcome Sunday 2-8 PM in the Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home, Turtle Creek/Monroeville Chapel, 1111 Monroeville Ave., Turtle Creek, PA 15145, 412-823-9350. Translation to St. Colman Church on Monday at 9 AM where a Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 AM.
Fr. Ron will be laid to rest with Military Honors in Good Shepherd Cemetery.
