Florence "Pinky" Nixdorf Obituary

Florence A. "Pinky" Nixdorf, 72, of Monroeville, died Sunday, Nov. 22, 2009. Pinky was a retired employee of West Penn Nursing Center and the Papercraft Corporation. Aunt of John Allen (Jane) Nixdorf, Peggy Mesko, JeanieRuth (Raymond) Alexander, Eugene "Chip" Nixdorf, Robert (Babs) Nixdorf, Audrey Lekovitch and Jon Nixdorf and the late Maureen (husband, Mike, of North Huntingdon) Nixdorf. Preceded in death by a sister, Regina Yates; and brothers, Eugene, William and Nick Nixdorf. Beloved friend of Kandas Barner, of Monroeville; also survived by many grand-nieces and grand-nephews; and her extended family, Debra (Marvin) Underwood, John (Nancy) Barner, Chaz (Di) Barner, James (Brooke) Barner and Emily and Charlie Barner. Friends welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the PATRICK T. LANIGAN FUNERAL HOME, TURTLE CREEK/MONROEVILLE CHAPEL, 1111 Monroeville Ave. at James St., Turtle Creek, 412-823-9350, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday.
