Evelyn A. (Kolich) Brunetti

Of Forest Hills, a resident of Centurion Commons but formerly a longtime resident of Braddock Hills, age 93, died peacefully on Friday, June 11, 2021 with her family attending to her.

Beloved wife of the late William P. Brunetti for 43 years.

Loving mother of William (Chris) Brunetti of Brackenridge, Fran (the late Kathleen) Brunetti of Braddock Hills, Thomas (Terri) Brunetti of North Huntingdon, and the late Carol (Tom Bridge) Brunetti.

Treasured grandmother of Jonathan Brunetti, Rachel (Andrew) Ludwig, Samantha Thorn, Anthony and Jessica Brunetti.

Proud great-grandmother of Jonah Ludwig.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her 8 siblings: Joseph (late Theresa) Clemenic, Kate (late John) Peretic, Mildred (Late Peter) Balkovich,  Michael “Jimmy” (surviving spouse, Evelyn) Kolich, Mary (late Walter) Kajder, Anna (late John) Vargo, John (late Agnes) Kolich and Josephine (late Albert) Pozek.

She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Evelyn was a career homemaker who not only raised her children but was a significant caregiver for her grandchildren as well. While raising her family, she volunteered with the Cub Scouts as a Den Mother and also with the Ladies Auxiliary of the Braddock Hills Volunteer Fire Department. She was a member of the Croatian Fraternal Union and the Women’s Guild of Madonna Del Castello Church.  Evelyn was a skilled seamstress and sewed outfits and clothing for her children. Her favorite time in life was any occasion to be with her family.

Friends are welcome on Friday, June 18, from 2-8pm at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home and Crematory Inc; Turtle Creek / Monroeville Chapel, 1111 Monroeville Ave. at James St., Turtle Creek 412-823-9350.

Mass of Christian Burial in Madonna del Castello Church of St. Joseph the Worker Parish on Saturday at 10 a.m.

Evelyn will be laid to rest in Braddock Catholic Cemetery.
