Ernest Richard McRobie

Of Irwin, age 77, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 22, 2026.

Born the son of the late Ernest A. McRobie and the late Jane (Sipper) McRobie.

Beloved husband of Janet C. (Mayer) McRobie for 56 wonderful years.

Loving father of Andy McRobie of Irwin and Mark (Brittany) McRobie of Dimondale, MI.

Cherished grandfather of Cole and Harper McRobie.

Dear brother of Pat (Mike) Melton and the late Donna Wells.

Also survived by nieces and nephews.

Ernie enjoyed spending time hunting, fishing, and antiquing.  He was an avid fan of all Pittsburgh sports teams.  Ernie found great joy in recent years spending time with both of his grandchildren, whom he adored wholeheartedly.

Per Ernie’s request, there will not be a visitation or service.
