Elizabeth D. "Betty" (McMahon) Nicholls

Of Forest Hills, age 84, on Thursday, July 16, 2015. Betty leaves her husband John III, on the 60^th anniversary of their marriage, two daughters and two sons Jeananne (Kurt), John IV , Maribeth, Daniel (Mandy), five grandchildren Michelle, Carrie, Heather, Grant and Kelsey and three great grandchildren Adylin, Berlyn, Everett and a baby boy who is due in October.  Betty was the last surviving of 12 children of Paddy and Annie McMahon who both emigrated from Ireland.  She will be missed by her card playing friends at Forest Hills Senior Center and also at their parties.  Betty organized family reunions and has hoped that the next generations will carry them on.  Others who will miss her are the many, now grown, children she babysat until her own grandchildren came along.

Mass of Christian Burial in St. Maurice Church on Saturday at 10 a.m.
