Elizabeth Dombrosky Obituary

Of Wilkins Twp., formerly of East Pittsburgh, age 89, passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2024.

Born the daughter of the late Carl F. Miller and the late Agnes C. (Horgan) Miller.

Beloved wife of Joseph John Dombrosky, Jr. for 69 years.

Loving mother of Joseph C. (Marlene) Dombrosky of Utah, David G. (Jeanne) Dombrosky of Ohio, Mary Beth (Randal) Grether of Ohio, John R. Dombrosky of Ohio, Lisa A. (Joe) McCann of Wilkins Twp., and Patrice M. (Steve) Ferlan of Ligonier.

Adored grandmother of 20 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Dear sister of Mary Ann Cigich.  Preceded in death by 8 other siblings, including her twin brother, Robert Miller.

Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Betty was born and raised in East Pittsburgh and was a proud graduate of East Pittsburgh High School.  She was a devout catholic and longtime member of St. Colman Church.  Betty was an active volunteer at St. Colman, and a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court Westinghouse #759 and the Confraternity of the Holy Rosary.  She enjoyed spending time attending exercising programs and was presented with numerous awards from Weightwatchers and Curves.  Betty loved traveling the world and playing cards with her family and friends. She was especially skilled at the game of pinochle.  After her children grew older, Betty began cleaning homes independently for different families throughout the greater Pittsburgh area, many of whom she formed close bonds with.  Most of all, Betty treasured the time she spent with her children, grandchildren, and her soul mate, Joe.
