Edward Ruffing Obituary
Of West Mifflin, formerly of Braddock, age 64, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 2, 2021.
Beloved husband of Deborah (Flynn) Ruffing for 46 wonderful years.
Loving father of Edward Ruffing and his spouse Jaime of North Versailles and Jessie Ruffing, and her spouse, Opie (Michael Opsitnick) of Ohio.
Adored Pop-Pop of Jackie Ruffing.
Brother of Robert Ruffing.
Also survived by many loving family members and friends.
Ed was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy who served during the Vietnam War. After returning home, he was hired at the U.S. Steel Edgar Thompson Works in his hometown of Braddock. Ed worked as a crane operator at E.T. for 36 years before retiring. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and most of all, treasured the time spent as Pop-Pop to Jackie whom he loved dearly.
