Dear sister of William (Deborah) R. Soltis of Monroeville, Linda (Karl) Diemert of North Huntingdon, and Louise (Ralph) Carter of Irwin.
Dorothy was a proud graduate of Turtle Creek High School. She later attended Pitt for two years. Dorothy worked at Westinghouse as a computer operator then later started working at Beckwith as a keypunch operator. She had fun watching the Steelers, being a season pass holder for 37 years. Dorothy also enjoyed going to the casino, traveling with George Sr. to Atlantic City numerous times. Above all else, she was known for her love of children. Dorothy loved to be surrounded by her grandchildren and great grandchild, Rook. She leaves her legacy of love and kindness to her family whom she adored.
Friends and family are welcome on Thursday 2-7 p.m. for a Memorial Visiting at the Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 1111 Monroeville Ave., Turtle Creek, PA 15145, (412) 823-9350.
Dorothy will be laid to rest at All Saints Braddock Catholic Cemetery on Friday at 10:00 a.m.
