Dorothy J. (Kirkpatrick) Kooser

Formerly of Monroeville, age 78, died on Monday, August 18, 2025 while a resident at Celebrations Village in Bridgeville.

Dorothy was the wife of the late Dr. Robert Kooser, DMD.

She was the mother of the late William Weiss.

She is survived by Bob’s children, William (Sue) Kooser of NC, Kelley (Jason) Muir of DE and Julie (Stephen) Polites of Forest Hills and Bob’s grandchildren, Jacob Muir, Olivia Muir, Zachary Kooser and Robert Kooser.

Dorothy is also survived by her brother Mark (Lisa) Kirkpatrick of MD and her sister, Linda Flynn of FL. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary (late James) Probo and her brothers, James (surviving spouse, Donna) Kirkpatrick and George (Gloria) Kirkpatrick.

Dorothy was raised in Wall and was a graduate of Westinghouse Memorial High School. She worked as a Home Health Aide and caregiver to people of need. Dorothy had been a member and volunteer of the Monroeville United Methodist Church.

Her funeral arrangements are private and she will be entombed in the Good Shepherd Cemetery Mausoleum.
