Dolores R. "Do" (Deacon) Nese

Of Saxonburg, formerly of East Pittsburgh, age 86, unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 6, 2018.

Beloved wife of the late Robert F. Nese for 58 years.

Loving and treasured mother of David S. (Mary Ellen) Nese of Gibsonia.

Proud grandmother of Daniel (Amanda) Nese of NV and Ryan Nese of Glenshaw.

Do was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Sarah Deacon and her brother, Samuel Deacon, Jr.

Also survived by many nieces and nephews and cousins.

Do was the co-owner with her husband, Bob, of the former Big Star Market in East Pittsburgh. During retirement, Do and Bob lived in Florida but after Bob’s death 3 years ago, she moved back to Pittsburgh to be near David.

Friends are welcome on Saturday from 2:30-5:30 pm at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 700 Linden Ave. at Cable, East Pittsburgh, 412-824-8800 where a Blessing Service will be held on Saturday at 5:30 pm.

Do will be laid to rest with Bob at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
