Dolores M. Longo

Formerly of North Braddock, a resident of St. Anne Home in Greensburg, age 91, died on Sunday, March 14, 2021.

Beloved wife of the late Anthony P. Longo for 65 years.

Loving and treasured mother of Patricia A. (Steven) Popieski of Monroe, NC and Anthony J. (Mary) Longo of Harrison City.

Precious grandmother of David and Diane Popieski and Anthony C. (Karen) Longo.

Great-grandmother of Madelyn, Anthony and Charlotte Longo.

Sister of Josephine Sacco and Alice (Lou) Pane.

Dolores is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Judith Kudis, Mary Ann Siegel and Helen Gostkowski and her brothers, Thomas J. Bartosik and John Bartosik.

Dolores was a secretary at the former Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Braddock. Upon the church merger, Dolores became an active member and volunteer with Good Shepherd Parish in Braddock. A favorite pastime for her was dancing with Tony at various venues. The center of Dolores’ life which brought her the most joy was spending any time with her family.

Friends are welcome on Thursday from 6-8 pm and Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home and Crematory Inc; 700 Linden Ave. at Cable; East Pittsburgh, 412-824-8800.

Mass of Christian Burial will be in Good Shepherd Church of St. Joseph the Worker Parish on Saturday at 10 a.m.

Dolores will be laid to rest in Braddock Catholic Cemetery.
